Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We wanted our ceremony to be as personal, and as memorable, as it could be – something a registrar ceremony couldn’t offer us. Jo really took the time to get to know us individually, and as a couple, before creating our bespoke ceremony.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Somewhat from attending other celebrant wedding ceremonies – but we knew we wanted to stray away from certain elements often seen in ceremonies and Jo had just the right ideas!

The best part of the ceremony for us

Jo encouraged us to write our own vows. We initially said no (as we don’t do any form of public speaking!), but then agreed to at least give it a go. Turns out hearing each other say our own vows was the most special part of our ceremony.
