How we both met

We met in 2017 while working together on a surgical ward at the RVI in Newcastle. We got to know each other personally and professionally before our romance blossomed which helped enormously.

The Wedding Venue

We tied the knot at the lovely Wylam brewery in Exhibition park, Newcastle.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We loved the idea of having a celebrant for the personal and intimate nature of the ceremonies, but neither of us truly expected how fabulous it was.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

We had no idea of how the ceremony would look or how it would go. We knew it would be different and very personal but Jo helped walk us through every step and gave us advice on what could be included.

It was truly spectacular.

The best part of the ceremony for us

The most special part of our ceremony was our story.

Jo did an incredible job in capturing our early years as a couple and how we have grown together.  Also, not to forget a very special mention for any loved ones that are sadly no longer here to celebrate the day with us. We both really appreciated this special touch.

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

Our guests were blown away by how interesting, moving and informative the ceremony was. Countless people said that they had learnt something new about the two of us!

Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them

  • Dan McCourt Photography – We couldn’t stress how amazing Dan was not only on the day but the final photos have blown us away.

Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!

Marvellous, Charming and UNIQUE
