Nic and Lewis

We matched on Tinder and had our first date at an arcade. Nic must have known it would lead to something special, as she kept all the winning tickets from that night!

We got married at Wylam Brewery in Newcastle.

It was actually the only venue we made an appointment to visit, but we both knew straight away it was the one as felt perfect for us.

We loved the idea of having a ceremony that felt more personal, where someone could really tell our story.

When we met Jo at an open event, she really got what we were looking for, and we felt so comfortable with her.

We knew we wanted something a bit different, we wanted personal and meaningful, but not overly formal.

When we met with Jo to go over the details, it all just clicked.  Nic, was tearing up every five minutes as Jo read our ceremony to us as it was exactly what we wanted.

The best part was definitely the love letters. We chose to write letters to each other and read them aloud during the ceremony. It was such a personal and emotional moment, just the two of us sharing our feelings in front of everyone. It made the ceremony feel even more intimate and meaningful. The love was so evident, and everything was raw and heartfelt.

The whole day was full of little moments that were special to us and ones we’ll always look back on.

The day was gorgeous from start to finish.

Our guests absolutely loved it!

Lots of people said they’d never been to a ceremony like it. It felt like everyone was truly part of the experience.

There was lots of tears!

• Anna McClen – Bridal Make-Up: Nic had Anna lined up for the wedding even before we were engaged! She was the first person Nic reached out to, to make sure she was available.
• Aimie Foster – Bridal Hair: Aimee’s work is fab, and she’s a total gem to have around on the big day. She made getting ready so enjoyable and relaxed.
