Megan and Scott

We met at a dentistry course in London in 2021. It turned out Scott owned the dental practice round the corner from Megan.

Our wedding was at Runa Farm, Barnard Castle.

We wanted a ceremony that reflected us as individuals, a couple, and our little family.

We wanted to honour our late mothers in a way that was respectful but upbeat. We were keen to have a ceremony that had our story and love at its centre, that felt warm and inclusive to all our guests, and that we could customise to include our loved ones.

Having been to a few of celebrant weddings before, we loved how they focused on the couple and felt like a genuine, bespoke celebration of those people.

Being able to include our loved ones in the ceremony was wonderful and really important to us. We could honour our heritage with elements of the ceremony and we loved that we could choose music and readings without restriction.

Our guests loved how warm and engaging Jo was – they said it was as if we knew each other for years! They loved that it truly reflected us as a couple and showcased our love, personalities and vows in an authentic and tasteful way.
