How we both met

We went to the same school but were two years apart. Fast forward 35 years.. A mutual friend sowed the seed and we connected via Facebook.

The Wedding Venue

Our wedding was at the Durham Suite, South Causey.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We wanted our wedding to be personal.  To us a wedding should be personal to the two people concerned.

It’s all about the love and Jo got it to perfection.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

We wanted our ceremony to be joyful, happy, fun and full of love!

It was important to us for our guests to feel involved and part of the day wholeheartedly.

The best part of the ceremony for us

It is so hard to choose, we loved every minute of our ceremony.

Martin said it was when he saw me walking down the aisle. For me, my son giving me away / Jo’s words / the exchange of rings / and our vows.

We also loved our Sip and Save toast!

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

They absolutely loved it, our guests said how much more relaxed and personal our ceremony was, and that there was such a fun, happy feel to it!

A true celebration!

Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them

Libby Whitfield – Photography.  My beautiful Goddaughter who is super talented. (no brainer)!

Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!

Only 3! Personal, Love, Joyful, Amazing, Memorable, Happy and Fun..
