We met through a mutual friend. We spoke for a few years before actually meeting up as a pair.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We had spoken to a family member of Jo’s who recommended having a celebrant wedding. When we spoke to Jo about it, we were sold instantly. It sounded amazing with lots of possible ways of having our ceremony.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Not until we had met up with Jo and she showed us the initial script. I (Kay) have always said I am not a crier but Jo showed me otherwise!

The best part of the ceremony for us

It is hard to pick one thing. Probably how personal the whole thing was, it was our story shared in a beautiful way.

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

Everyone just LOVED it! We were getting compliments all day. Everyone was saying they had never been to a wedding like it.

Nigel Playle for photography was amazing. He was great with the kids and the adults, had everyone at ease and laughing all day.
Make, Bake and Decorate (Mel) for our cake was amazing too. It went down a treat and she was great in the run up to the wedding.
