How we both met

Tinder! Followed by the most perfect first date.

The Wedding Venue

Wylam Brewery in Exhibition Park.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We loved the idea of it being personal and funny.

We really wanted our guests to feel involved and for the day to start out with our love story being shared.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Just as we were starting to get nervous about our big day, we met with Jo and she talked us through our whole ceremony. It was absolutely perfect and totally put our minds at ease. We only had the small task of writing our vows left! Jo helped us both with these too and it was all amazing on the day!

The best part of the ceremony for us

Standing hand in hand, hearing our story told in a room full of all of our favourite people was just magical.  Then hearing each other’s personal vows and everyone laughing (and crying!) along with us.  Everything made us both feel so comfortable, it was all wonderful .

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

That is was such a fabulous day! Everybody laughed and cried and just really enjoyed themselves.  Guests loved our ceremony and many commented on how fantastic Jo was and that they loved the telling of our story.

Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them

All our suppliers were amazing, a special shout out to:

  • Anna McClen Makeup – absolutely amazing makeup artist and lovely person to have about on your wedding morning.
  • Cal Thompson photography – the photos speak for themselves but he was also fab to have around on the day. (I so agree Jas)! Love Jo x
  • Romi Bloom Florals – for our gorgeous flowers, decorations and centerpieces. Absolutely fab!
  • Andy Usher – the best band ever, kept the dance floor full all evening.

Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!

Simply the best…

(Love this Jas and Shaun) the biggest hugs from me!
