We ‘met’ on Tinder in November 2017 and met up for the first time a week later.

Our Wedding was at The Hidden Oak, a new venue close to Teesside / Darlington.

We actually didn’t know about Celebrant weddings when we first looked at venues. We booked The Hidden Oak in September 2022 and it was brand new so at that stage they didn’t have a wedding license for ‘official’ marriages so they let us know that a celebrant would be the best option for the ceremony part. From this I started looking in to Celebrants and soon realised how amazing this was and that it would be perfect for us.

After looking on Instagram and Google for local Celebrants we just knew Jo was for us. Her presence and vibe was exactly what we were after and we think it was defintely a sign that it happened this way.

Once we started seeing how Celebrant ceremonies worked we realised that it would be so personal and to tell our story but we couldn’t imagine just how perfect Jo would make it.

We felt relaxed and stress free having Jo conduct our ceremony. She told our story perfectly and the style of the ceremony was us to a tee!

Our guests LOVED the ceremony. I had so many people comment on how special it was and that they will remember our ceremony over ‘traditional’ style ones.

We had guests say that Jo was incredible at what she did and couldn’t believe how well she told our story without knowing us prior to booking for our wedding.
