How we both met

We first started speaking on Instagram in August 2016. On 3rd September 2016 was the day we first properly met, it was Alex’s 21st birthday.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We wanted our ceremony to be personal to us and for us to have someone that we could meet prior to the day to help us feel less nervous on our special day.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Yes, I always knew I wanted an outdoor ceremony, and Jo just made it all that little bit more special for us. It was so personal; she is just an incredible human! She made us feel like we were her only wedding!

The best part of the ceremony for us

The VOWS! And this was the part I didn’t really want to do, but after Jo explained how special this would be for us we thought let’s do it.

I am so so glad we did!
