How we both met
The Wedding Venue
Wylam Brewery in Newcastle.
Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony
We wanted something creative, personal and unique to us, and something that would allow us to tell our life story so far.
Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like
More what we didn’t want it to look like!
We didn’t really want anything formal that might be a bit boring for our guests. We wanted something fun, that was really all we had thought about.
The best part of the ceremony for us
Being able to have a personal tribute to Louise’s dad, who sadly isn’t with us anymore. The John Smiths toast was very fitting and meant so much to us.
What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day
A lot of people said that they felt like they really knew “our story” after the ceremony. People liked the tribute to Louise’s dad. The personal toucbes… including James’s poem!
Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them
We loved working with our suppliers. All of them are our favourites!
- Muscari had exactly the style we were looking for, rustic and autumnal.
- We loved Dan McCourt’s images the minute we saw them and he was absolutely amazing on the day.
- Wylam Brewery is somewhere we had been to for events and days out, and we always loved it! (it’s also Gary’s favourite brewery).
Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!
Personal, Unique, and so much Fun!
