How we both met

In the classy Lambton Arms pub in South Shields after Danielle had been to see The Script with her Dad and Chris who her Dad already knew was in the pub.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

So we could do it the way we wanted to and not the way a registrar told us we had to do it.  We didnt want to be stuck to their time constraints at all.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Yes, I pictured the room, the aisle, the guests being there and their reaction to everything.

The best part of the ceremony for us

Being able to bring our Dads into the ceremony as they’d both sadly passed away.   I walked with a can of John Smith’s down the aisle for my Dad and Chris had a bottle of McEwan’s Best Scotch for his.  We toased our Dads before our ceremony began.  We never would have imagined we could of  done this .  If we had of stuck to the usual old fashioned format we could not have.

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

The best wedding they had ever been to! Jo was absolutely amazing!

Danielle’s Mam was so deflated the next day and wanted to do it all over again!
