How we both met
We met in 2014 when we were both studying in Leeds. We started to share lifts to and from Doncaster where Kasia was playing football and Craig had a student physio placement. We travelled together from Leeds to Doncaster and back three times a week, getting to know each other and singing along to various songs in the car (one of which was our first dance song)!

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony
We wanted our day to be a celebration of us and for our guests to have fun. We felt a celebrant ceremony would be the perfect way to celebrate our relationship and the amazing people we have in our lives.
Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like
We didn’t really have an idea before we met Jo, apart from knowing we wanted to have our guests involved in some way and we wanted it to be fun and relaxed. Jo’s ideas really encompassed everything we were looking for (without knowing it beforehand!)
The best part of the ceremony for us
We’re struggling to think of a single best part because it was all so wonderfully done! Some highlights:
– Sharing our personal vows
– Hearing Jo talk about our love story
– Having our friends and family say a few words about us
– The Polish vodka / water shot and not knowing which was which (we think this was the guests’ favourite part).
What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day
We had so many complements about the ceremony, and it really set the perfect tone for the rest of the day.
Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them
Dried Wild Florist – Berri was amazing and created the most beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements. We wanted dried flowers so that we could keep them for as long as possible afterwards and give them to friends and family.
Kristos Kabiotis Photography – Kristos was recommended to us by a family member and he captured the day so beautifully.
Kate Beaumont – I absolutely loved Kate’s jumpsuit design and the fact that it is ethically made in Sheffield (my hometown!). I really enjoyed the fittings too, Kate is so lovely!
Lisa Jones Hair and Makeup Artist – Lisa put me at ease from our first meeting and she knew exactly what I wanted. I loved my hair and makeup on the day and so did my bridesmaids, and it was a really chilled morning too!
Pure Knead – We love going to Pure Knead for coffee and cake, so there was nowhere else we could go for our wedding cake!
Canny Campers – Kasia really wanted a camper van to take her to the venue and Canny Campers fit the bill! We also love our personalised champagne glasses!
Annabel Pattinson (reception singer) – Craig knew Annabel from school and used to listen to her open mic nights at his local. She was amazing, and our guests thought so too – some of them even got her details for their wedding next year!
Groove Allstars (evening band) – we wanted a mix of music and Groove Allstars came highly recommended. They were amazing and we absolutely loved that they learnt and played our (unconventional!) first dance song, The Cure – Close to Me. Our guests loved them so much they called for an encore at the end of the night, and Groove Allstars delivered!
Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!
Perfect, FUN, Vodka!
