How we both met

We met on a work night out after a good deal of Espresso Martinis.

The Wedding Venue

Wylam Brewery.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We wanted our ceremony to be personal and create an amazing atmosphere to start off the celebrations. We wanted it to set the tone for our guests so they knew they could join in and be part of our whole day with us.

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Other than the words we wanted to say, we left if all in Jo’s very capable hands.

The best part of the ceremony for us

The laughs!!!

No one was expecting a ceremony like it, as they had never attended a celebrant ceremony.  We loved the fact we could have some of our guests say a few words which didn’t have to be formal and that we could join in, and our guests join in!

What our guests said about our wedding ceremony/day

AMAZING!! BEST wedding they have ever been to, never been to one like it. Its 6 weeks on and they are still talking about it.  They felt as though they were actually part of our celebration and ceremony rather than just spectate.

Some of our fav wedding suppliers and why we chose them

  • Chris RennisonRae (Photographer) – made everyone feel comfortable, not awkward at all.
  • Sprig & Thistle (Florist) – Jess’s work is absolutely stunning.
  • Harry B’s (MUA) – Found it so difficult to find someone I liked to do a very natural makeup and I couldn’t fault Raina & Bethan.
  • Waves & Veil (Hair) – Vicky was lovely, she made the whole morning so relaxed and stress free.

Three words that sum up our ‘Love Jo’ experience!

Absolutely, Absolutely Flawless!
