The Wedding Venue

Our wedding venue was Wylam Brewery in Newcastle.

Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony

We wanted a truly personal ceremony and a Celebrant (particularly Jo) seemed like the best way to do it!

Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like

Not initially but a zoom with Jo gave us a good outline of what we could expect on the day! We do not live in the North East so Jo kept in contact with us via zoom.

The best part of the ceremony for us

Getting friends and family to stand up and say a few words. It felt inclusive and made it even more personal.

The ‘Handfasting’ was totally personal and fabulous too!

How personal it was. At least half the guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!
