How we both met
We both met at a meetup with friends when we were 18 in Coventry.
The Wedding Venue
We chose Langley Castle in Hexham for our Nordic ceremony. It was held outside in the forest which was incredible.
Why we chose to have a celebrant wedding ceremony
On recommendation from the staff at Langley castle but after our initial meeting with Jo we felt she was perfect to perform our ceremony and the handfasting we wanted.
Ideas about what our ceremony could have looked like
We had some ideas, but Jo really brought up the more pagan elements of our day.
The best part of the ceremony for us
There were many which makes it hard to pick! We liked offering mead and cake to our guests. The actual handfasting, sharing of vows and our love story were all incredible. It is very difficult to pick one best moment.

Our guests said that is was amazing and so different to what they would normally do on a wedding day.
