Amy and Al

We met in Sydney, Australia having landed just one week apart in October 2014, introduced by mutual friend and Amy’s bridesmaid, Louise.

At the stunning Otterburn venue, Woodhill Hall.

Having attended weddings in Australia (where celebrants are more commonplace) we loved the personal, emotional, and unique touch that a celebrant brings to the ceremony. Furthermore, we loved the idea of writing and sharing our own vows and knew immediately that Jo could deliver everything we dreamed of and more!

Yes, we always had in our mind’s eye the vibe we wanted for our ceremony and once we sat down and started discussing it with Jo all the pieces came together in a way that was better than we even imagined.

Everything!

Difficult to choose just one part, but reading our vows to each other, the story of our life together as delivered by Jo, and the short readings by our guests were extra special.

That they loved every moment. The emotion, sincerity, and fun of the ceremony in particular was a highlight for people.

More than a few people have said it was their favourite wedding they have ever attended.

• Videographers (Alice and Michael from Bennett Media) who were excellent in capturing the feel of the day and a pleasure to hang out with.
